350.org Day of Action at the J.P. Greenhouse

Event info: Sunday 10 October 2010 – 2:00pm to 8:00pm

Join us for an Open House at the JP Green House, a zero-carbon demonstration home and garden in Jamaica Plain, which also serves as the hub for 350.org in Boston. They will be opening our doors from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM , with a variety of activities and demonstrations, a meal, and an evening of presentation, discussion and song.

Join us for the whole day, or any part of it. Here’s the schedule:

2:00 PM -5:00 PM:
Create the “Climate Graffiti” on the sidewalk
Help build stone walls in the garden
Tours of the JP Green House (on the hour)
Tabling and presentations by other Boston sustainability initiatives, including JP Bikes, 350.org, the Leadership Campaign, Transition Initiatives, and Boston Localvores

5-8pm:
Dinner, “Climate Chorus” by artist Jane Marsching, discussion; Songs with ken Ward and Dean Stevens
